47I want something good to read

The Magazine is a weekly knitting & crochet read in your Feed tab - beta, activated in Settings

Before you start
1
Turn On the Magazine Beta
Assisted Features settings showing the Magazine beta toggle

The Magazine is a beta feature and is off by default - your Feed tab shows no Magazine until you switch it on. Open Settings → Assisted Features and enable Magazine. It sits there rather than under Appearance because the articles are written with an AI model, which is also why it carries an AI tag.

English only: Magazine articles are written in English, regardless of your app language. You can switch the beta off again at any time.
Find your way around Settings in App Settings.
2
Open the Magazine in Your Feed
The Magazine segment inside the Feed tab showing the current issue

With the beta enabled, your Feed tab gains a Magazine segment. Switch to it to open the current issue under the Bobbin's Spot masthead - patterns, designers, and yarn. A fresh edition arrives weekly - if you catch the Magazine mid-preparation, you'll see "Your issue is taking shape" and can check back soon.

Everything else in the Feed tab is covered in Browse Your Feed.
3
Read the Issue
Magazine articles with trend, designer, technique, community, and season themes

Each issue is a curated read about the craft itself - designs, techniques, and yarn, not industry news. Below the featured stories, the All articles list lets you search the issue and filter by topic tags like technique, design, community, and yarn. Tap an article to read it in full - articles range from trend pieces and designer features to technique deep-dives and seasonal reads.

4
Read the Originals
Read the originals section linking to the source designer blogs

The Magazine is built on the work of real designers and bloggers, and it links back to them. Every article ends with a Read the originals section pointing to the source posts - follow the links to support the people behind the ideas and discover new blogs for your reading list.

Follow the designers you discover in Designers & Friends.
5
Read It in the Order You Like

The All articles list has a sort, and it opens on Curated for you - the articles you have been shown least, and have not read, come first, so the issue keeps offering something new rather than the same front page every visit. The other orders are newest, oldest, when it was written, best rated, most seen, and A-Z.

Alongside the features are the recurring columns: Hot Right Now, In Focus (a designer), and From the Boards (what the forums are arguing about). Hide this article removes one you are not interested in.

6
Shape the Next Issue

At the end of an article you can rate it from 1 to 10 and add a note saying what would have made it better. That rating is the human half of the quality loop - it decides what the next edition looks like - and each teaser shows the average, so you can see what other readers thought before you commit ten minutes.

Inside an article you will also find On Ravelry cards for the patterns and designers it names, Terms in this piece for craft words it leans on, The wider conversation - outside voices that agree or push back - and Read the originals, which links every source.
