See What Your Friends Are Up To
Stash2Go Friends feed showing recent activity from Ravelry friends

Tap Feed in the navigation bar. The Friends tab shows a social stream of activity from people you follow on Ravelry - new projects started, finished objects, pattern favorites, stash additions, and forum posts. The data comes directly from your Ravelry friend connections: anyone you follow on Ravelry will appear here when they're active.

Each activity card shows the friend's avatar, what they did, and a photo when available. Tap any card to jump straight to the project, pattern, or thread.

Tip: Pull down to refresh and see the latest activity. Items you've already seen are automatically tracked so new content stands out. To see more friends here, follow more people on Ravelry - see Follow Designers and Friends.

Discover Your Personalized Feed
Stash2Go For You feed showing personalized pattern and project recommendations

Switch to the For You tab to see an Instagram-style discovery feed of patterns and projects tailored to your interests. Unlike the Friends tab (which pulls from your Ravelry social graph), the For You feed draws from the entire Ravelry database of over 1 million patterns and millions of projects. Stash2Go's recommendation engine filters this massive catalog down to content that matches your taste.

On your first visit, Stash2Go analyzes your Ravelry favorites, your library, and your project history to build an initial preference profile - what crafts you do (knitting, crochet, or both), which categories you gravitate toward (garments, accessories, home), and what yarn weights and fibers you prefer. After that, every interaction refines the algorithm: items you favorite or queue signal "more like this," while marking something as "Not Interested" teaches the feed to steer away.

Tip: Scroll endlessly - the feed loads new content automatically as you go. Each card has quick actions: Favorite (heart), Queue, Comments, and Not Interested. Double-tap any photo to instantly favorite it.

Customize Your Feed
Feed settings modal showing content type selection and reset options

Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner to open Feed Settings. Here you can control what appears in your For You feed:

Patterns & Projects - Show both types (default).
Patterns Only - Focus on discovering new patterns.
Projects Only - See finished projects and works-in-progress from the community.

You can also Reset Feed to start fresh - this clears your seen history and re-analyzes your Ravelry favorites from scratch to rebuild your preference profile. Useful if your taste has shifted or you want a completely fresh start.
