15I want to find a yarn shop

Go to Discover → Find Shops (in the Community & Shops section). The shop locator shows yarn shops on a map, starting from your current location. You can browse nearby shops or search for shops anywhere in the world.

Type a city, region, or address in the search bar - for example, "Oslo". The map moves to that location and shows all yarn shops in the area. Each pin represents a shop, and you can scroll through the list below the map to see shop names, ratings, and distances.

Tap a shop to open its detail page. Here you'll find the full address, opening hours, phone number, website link, and a directions button that opens your preferred maps app. You can also see photos and Google reviews.

On the map, tap a shop pin for directions. On mobile, this opens your Maps app for turn-by-turn navigation.

Tap Add Shop to add a yarn shop that is not listed on Ravelry. Two of the three ways in do the typing for you: Website URL reads the shop's own site and fills in what it finds, Google Search lets you pick the shop from Google's places and takes its address and hours, and you can then correct anything by hand before saving. This makes it possible to keep track of shops from any source — local markets, online stores, or shops you discover while travelling.

The Brands tab shows which yarn brands the shop carries. Tap a brand to see that manufacturer's yarns. This is a great way to find specific brands near you when planning a yarn crawl.

A shop page has tabs, and only the ones with something in them appear: Info (address, phone, website, directions), Photos, Brands it carries, Hours, Promotions, and a Map. Checking Hours before a detour, and Brands before a yarn crawl, is the whole point of the page.
