1
Pin a Search
Pinning a pattern search with its filters from the search screen

Built a great filter combination - fingering-weight, top-down, free, sorted by rating? Pin the search right from the search screen and the whole setup is saved: query, filters, and sort. Pinning works across the app's search screens - patterns, pattern sources, designers, and people.

Filter combinations worth pinning: Search for Patterns.
2
Open Your Pinned Content

After pinning, tap View in the confirmation toast to open Pinned Content. Three tabs organize everything: Pinned Searches (your saved filter setups), Pinned Items (individual things you've pinned), and Ravelry Searches (saved searches from your Ravelry account). In Simple Mode with pin management enabled, Pinned Content also appears as its own entry on the Discover tab.

3
Rerun a Pinned Search

Tap any pinned search to rerun it with every filter restored - fresh results, zero re-tapping. Because searches rerun live, a pinned search is also a lightweight watchlist: pin "new fingering shawls, free" and check it whenever you want the latest matches.

Tip: Pin seasonal searches - "chunky hats" in October, "cotton tees" in May - and your seasonal rotation is one tap away each year.
