13I want to group patterns into collections

Tap Bundles on the Home screen. A bundle is just a folder with a name - "Sweaters", "Christmas", "Berlin knits". Anything you have hearted can go in one, and one thing can be in several.

Tap the ⋯ in the top corner and choose Create Bundle. It asks for a Name (the only thing it needs), an optional Description, and who can see it: Public, Private, or Friends Only. Then Create.

Bundles are filled from the heart. Open any pattern and tap the heart - the box that appears lists your bundles across the top, and you pick one there. New makes a bundle on the spot without leaving the pattern.

Tap a bundle to open it. The Items tab is everything in it, with its own search box and the same sort, filter and layout buttons the other lists have.

Moving twenty patterns one at a time is nobody's evening. Open the bundle's ⋮ menu and choose Select for Bulk Edit. Tap the ones you want - the header counts them, and Select All takes the lot. Then tap the basket button that appears, and Apply Changes moves or removes them all in one go.

The three buttons above your bundles are filter (personal, designer or group bundles), layout, and sort (Name A-Z, Name Z-A, Most Items, Recently Created). The search box matches bundle names.

The Info tab holds the housekeeping: how many things are in it, whether it is public, its web address, and when you made it and last changed it.

Bundles are not only yours. Designers publish them, groups keep them, and other makers make them public. The filter on your bundle list separates Personal, Designer and Group bundles, and you can heart a bundle the same way you heart a pattern - it then shows up in your own list to browse whenever you like.
