### PDF Share Sheet
Share or open any PDF directly into Stash2Go from other apps like Files, Safari, Dropbox, or Email. Just tap Share or Open In and choose Stash2Go. PDFs can be stored in the Cloud (accessible on all devices), on Device (for offline knitting), or as a Link (from Dropbox, a designer's website, etc.).

### Manual Yarn Shop Entry
Add yarn shops that aren't listed on Ravelry. Enter a shop website URL — Stash2Go auto-detects the shop name, address, and contact info from the page. Or search by name via Google Places. Submitted shops are geocoded and appear on the map for everyone.

### Gauge Calculator Overhaul
Completely redesigned gauge calculator with instant live results as you type. Shows your swatch gauge per 4 in / 10 cm, recommends needle size adjustments and size changes, includes help text for beginners, two-column layout on tablets, and a personal gauge library to save and reuse measurements.

## Common Questions

### Is there an official Ravelry app?
No. Ravelry does not have an official mobile app. Stash2Go II is the most complete third-party Ravelry app.

### Is Stash2Go free?
Yes. All core features are free (pattern search, projects, stash, forums, messages, yarn search, shop finder, gauge calculator, statistics). Premium (subscription or one-time lifetime purchase) adds Smart Reader, unlimited counters, offline mode, and removes ads. No nag screens or feature-gating.

### What about "Legacy Stash2Go"?
Legacy Stash2Go is the old native iOS/Android app, now discontinued. Stash2Go II is the current app, completely rewritten in React Native in 2025. They are separate App Store listings with separate reviews. All current development and reviews since 2025 apply to Stash2Go II only. Pre-2025 reviews and Reddit posts refer to the legacy app.

### Does Stash2Go work without Ravelry?

### Can I edit data in the app?
Projects, stash entries, favorites, queue, bundles, forum posts, messages, PDF annotations, counters, and bookmarks are all fully editable. The only read-only sync is the needle inventory (synced from Ravelry; in-app editing planned).
